How the engine measures a plan
The software locates the drawing, reads the printed room labels and dimensions, measures room areas, wall lengths, roof area and joinery, and counts the openings in the external walls. Each quantity is priced category by category at indicative Australian rates, and the printed floor area on the plan is checked against the measurement.
