Why a square-metre rate is not enough
A square-metre rate treats every home as the same home. Two plans of the same floor area can differ by tens of thousands of dollars once you count the wet areas, the length of external wall, the roof shape and the joinery drawn on them. ResiQuote starts from the drawing instead: it extracts room areas, wall lengths, roof area and fixtures, then applies construction rates category by category.
What you get for free
The free result is a build cost range measured from your plan, shown for a Standard (volume builder) and a Premium (custom builder) specification. No card is required and there is no obligation to upgrade.
What the full estimate adds
The full itemised estimate ($299, one-off) breaks the build into eleven categories, from design and approvals through slab, walls, roof, windows, services, kitchen, bathrooms, doors and floor coverings, with a PDF report you can take to your builder. There is a 14-day full refund if it is not what you expected.
